Unformatted text preview: Elizabeth Merlino October 28, 2010 Tomorrow Never Knows In the book Tomorrow Never Knows , Nick Bromell, the author, discusses many different influential bands and singers . The ones I knew were Elvis and the Beatles. He talks about them to show how much music of the 60s really influenced the youth and their actions from rebellion to how they thought . He makes very clear examples to how the music affected the youth and explained how everything was like a domino effect and how everything eventually lead back to the music that was being broad casted . The book was a little hard to follow . I feel as though he jumped around from band to band and assumed that everyone readying knew who everyone already was . I knew a lot of the people, but not everyone . He went from one event to another as if everyone already knew the history of the 60s .In chapter two he starts talking about Elvis and relates him to all the current events of the time, but then decides to bring in the Beatles into the mix, when really, they were at...
