Owens 1 Michelle Owens EDCI 3125 24 August 2011 My Science Education History My debut into society came two minutes after my twin brothers’ at Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. I grew up in Metairie, only about a mile away from the hospital. I always wanted to go to LSU because I knew that was where I belonged and deserved to be. Despite my being a straight-A student, holding office in various clubs, singing and dancing in my high school show performance group, and being an athlete on various teams, my admission to LSU did not come easy whatsoever. I had to do everything I could in order to get the ACT score for my admission. After taking the ACT ten times, being enrolled in a reputable ACT prep course, and practicing every other way I knew how, I was finally accepted in April of my senior year in high school. My hobbies consist of playing sports, singing, making art, creating objects in my most resourceful way, tie dying, swimming in the sun, spending time with all the people I love, and so much more. My best and favorite subjects are Art and Physical Education. My worst subject is usually Math, but I would prefer to classify it as the subject I hate most. Each school year since starting elementary school I have taken numerous types of science courses. As a college student at LSU, I have taken science courses every year. The best memory
