Biostatistics Lab STAT 2023L Fall 2011 Instructor: Richard Wanjohi Office : SCEN 332 E-mail: [email protected] Class website: http://comp.uark.edu/~rwanjohi/BioStats/bs.html Lab Times The labs will be held in SCEN 320 Section 1 meets on Tuesday from 2:00 – 2:50 pm Section 2 meets on Tuesday from 11:30- 12:20 pm Section 3 meets on Thursday from 2:00- 2:50 pm You should belong to one and only one of these sections. Course Description This is a computer lab that emphasis on use of integrated statistical package, in particular SAS, to complement statistical methodology being covered concurrently in STAT 2023. Upon successful completion of the course, you should be familiar with the SAS programming, data analysis procedures using SAS and more importantly interpretation of the results. No late assignments will be accepted. Grade: The lab grade will make 20 % of your final Biostatistics grade. To receive credit for the lab the students are expected to complete and hand in, in time, lab assignments. No make –up labs/ assignments. Computer misuse Internet surfing during the lab hour will not be tolerated. Inclement Weather : I will make every effort to hold class when the University is open.
