~NE~ ne takes the place of “ di ” + a noun: Marta parla del suo lavoro ? Si! Ne parla spesso! (She talks about it often) It also takes the place of “di” + an infinitive after expressions like avere bisogno di, avere paura di, and avere voglia di : Hai paura del buio ? No, non ne ho paura – ma ne avevo paura da piccola!
