Professional This past semester has been filled with insightful and enlightening ideas that were shared by knowledgeable business professionals. Each speaker brought his or her unique perspective for success, but in contemplation of all the valuable information given, the five most applicable points for me in my desired profession are as follows: 1. Howard M. Headlee spoke of the importance of being a “builder,” and he stressed how influential each individual has the potential to be. I feel that this philosophy is imperative to success in business, and being a “builder” adds value to both the individual and the profession itself. This is an unselfish way of achieving strategic professional accomplishment. 2. Keith Tintle urged students to be passionate about their careers. I cannot imagine going to a job each day that I viewed apathetically. I believe that success is driven by passion. Professionals grow and reach goals when this characteristic is part of their work ethic. 3.
