Kerynne Tejada English 134-24 22 September 2010 Assignment #2 Pp. 34 Activ. #6 First-person Point of View (I) As I watch one of my favorites primetime shows, I am frazzled by all the commercials that advertise products, shows, and other materialistic objects. As they entice me by using different ideas and words, I notice how much advertisement agencies go to great lengths to get people to watch their show or buy their product. If I could question them one thing, I would ask why they are trying so hard to connect with me. Most of their slangs and messages do not relate to me whatsoever. It seems like the agencies try too hard, making the commercials seem ridiculous. I wish that the advertisement agencies would get to know their customers on a more personal level so that the product and customer would be able to relate more. Second-person Point of View (You) When you try to target your audience, what goes on through your head? Do you picture little hipsters who love dancing cats?
