Question 1. Students did badly. Part a: many students did it right. Depending on the explanation I deducted 0.5 to 1.5 marks. If some students did it right but not good explanation I gave 4. Many also did it wrong. Just stated PPP but did not discuss the question or even how the question is related to PPP. I still gave 1 to 2.5 marks for that depending on the quality of the explanation. Part b: students did badly. Most got 50% mark. Most of them said true used Solow model. Very few talked about AK model. Some even said uncertain but in explanation talked only about Solow model. I gave 3.5 even if somebody explained one side of the story. And sometimes 4 if anybody discussed one side but at least said Uncertain. Few students (may be 1 or 2) tried to explain 2 sides I gave almost full mark depending on the quality of the answer. Part c: Most students did not understand the story or idea of the question i.e. open vs. closed economy argument. Almost 60% students talked about golden rule and then argued uncertain. Initially I was giving 1 to 1.5 mark. Then later at the end of the marking

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
