BUSMIS 1060 – Introduction to Information Systems Opportunity Identification In the course project, you are working in a teams to analyze a business process or activity, and identify opportunities for improving the performance of that process by applying information systems. Briefly describe the organization and the business process or activity that you chose to focus on. Include a description of the competitive landscape: who are some of the major competitors for the organization? In what way are they posing competitive threats (e.g., pricing, customer loyalty, innovative products, etc)? If your organization is the major player in the industry, describe what their competitive advantage is. If your organization is a non-profit one, identify other organizations that offer similar services/products that clients of your organization might find equally useful/attractive. Describe 3 ways that information systems could be used to improve the performance of that business process using
