SECOND MIDTERM IS APRIL 13, 2011 AT 6:007:30
WHERE YOU WILL TAKE THE MIDTERM ON APRIL 13, 2011:
1. If you are in sections 0101 or 0102 then take the midterm in CSI 1115.
2. If you are in section 0201 then take the midterm in CSI 3117.
3. If you are in 0202 and your last name begins with a letter between A and J then take
the midterm in CSI 3118.
4. If you are in 0202 and your last name begins with a letter between K and Z then take
the midterm in CSI 3120.
5. If you are in 010H (the Honors Section) then take the midterm in CSI 1122.

1 Description
We will study fundamental mathematical concepts that are relevant to computer science. In
particular we will cover propositional and predicate logic, proof techniques, mathematical
induction, elementary number theory, relations, functions, combinatorics, probability, and
graph theory (time permitting).
