I want to make sure you all are using the correct procedure for the Statdisk assignment, so here are some more pointers. First off, for the Statdisk calculations this week: go to Analysis, probability distributions, and normal distribution then just type in your z-score. Make sure you are using the correct sign (negative or positive) when finding the area score from the z score. In the second part where you are using Statdisk, make sure to input the correct z score values into Statdisk ( watch those negatives and positives!). Also, for the Statdisk problems, show me on the printout where I should look for the answer for #1 and 3. For #2, walk me through how to use the printout results to get to the final answer. Don’t assume I know where to look or what you are doing—connect the dots for me! For the three problems, the answer you get using Statdisk should match the answer you got from the manual calculations! Problem #1 (for the Statdisk part), you can look at the Statdisk printout for the answer for #1 by looking at cumulative from the “Left” in the printout.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
