Leadership Style The style of leadership a person has is a key factor in determining the success of the team or group they are leading. It is important that a person molds their style to match the needs of those they are leading. By doing this it increases the likelihood of success within the team as a group and individually. The leadership style that I feel that I am more of is the laissez-faire leadership style. This style, also known as delegative leadership, is a more hands off type of leadership and allows member to make the decisions. Through this leadership style the tools are given to those that may need it and group members are expected to solve problems on their own. I have found this style to be effective for those that I am leading because it gives the people who are reporting to me complete ownership and responsibility on what they are doing. It allows them to figure out how to fix problems that arise and how to delegate their time to the task they want
