Data Management The forecast function allows you to specify a particular X value for which you want a corresponding Y value for existing X and Y values Go to Jan sales, type in =, go to the East, west, North, and south WS and select appropriate cells adding them together o OR =sum(Worksheet_Name:Last Worksheet_Name!) Create another workbook with just east in it o Go back to big Workbook and reference cells to copied Workbook =[Book1]East!$B$5 change this from an absolute reference to a relative reference Select everything and go to paste link Data tab, edit links o You can move around links here by clicking change source Consolidate (In Data Tools) o Consolidation can be dynamic or static o Dynamic updates the consolidation if the original data changes Consolidation by Position o Select cell, click consolidate Select the sales and expenses columns using range finder and hit add Do this with North, East, South, and West o Once all that is done hit enter
