Olivia Nixon Dr. Crockett Engineering 110 12 October 2009 onixon_scientists/engineers Scientists—test ideas/questions, usually develop theories or concepts Albert Einstein —I feel he was a scientist because he made many discoveries that were more or less theories instead of design things and building and testing them. Max Planck —He is categorized as a scientist because he developed a theory , therefore never proven, that calculates how much light energy an object gives off at a certain temperature Svante Arrhenius —Scientist who first investigated the effect of atmospheric carbon dioxide on the global climate. Only studied , did not supply possible solutions. Marie Curie —she was one of the first women scientists to win the Nobel Prize. She discovered 2 elements and developed the theory of radioactivity. Charles Darwin —he was a naturalist who established the theory of evolution known as Darwinism. Can evolution be proved anyway? Barbara McClintock
