Customer Surveys—Reusable Mugs Our team decided to conduct a survey in order to get a better prospective on how Cal Poly students, staff, and others affiliated with the university actually think about reusable coffee mugs in general and what they also think about our concept for a collapsible mug. This survey was conducted on a small sample size of people who are customers of Julian’s Coffee located in the Cal Poly Kennedy Library. The first surprising statistic that we discovered was that only about %15 of the people we surveyed actually own a reusable mug. And about half of that %15 actually use their reusable coffee mug. Many of these people say they don’t generally like carrying their mugs because they are bulky and hard to store when not in use. Also, a lot of people who do own these mugs say they often forget to bring them along on a regular basis. However, we found one the best trade offs (as customers indicated) is that carrying a reusable mug lowers the cost of their coffee. All
