The concept is similar to communication because if one is constantly looking at communication to view the world, any slight nuance between communication and the real world as one perceives it, can lead to confusion and communication barriers. Similar to looking at communication, the frame theory has its flaws, with the first being the frame itself. If someone is constantly looking at a window frame to see the world, there will always be a portion of the world you are sheltered from because you are unable to view the world beyond the frame. In the case of the closed window concept, it becomes an issue in that closing the window only allows for temporary avoidance of a problem, however the problem still exists.
