If you choose the program, please include your name in a Java comment at the top. The following assignment is optional , and is worth up to 3 points of extra credit. You may complete ONE of the two options below. 1. Mini-Essay Using the Internet or other resources, Fnd something new (to you) and interesting relating to something we have discussed this semester, or another aspect of computing. Write a 1-2 page paper describing what you found, brie±y explaining how it works or what it means and why it interests or affects you. Possible topics include (but are not limited to): a. New technologies (e.g., quantum computing, DNA computing, VOIP, Internet television) b. Issues involving technology and society (e.g., copyright, online privacy, cybercrime) c.
