(1 point) A = 10 (base 10) = 1010 (binary) 4 = 4 (base 10) = 0100 (binary) A4 = 10100100 (binary) b. Translate 9D from hexadecimal into binary. (1 point) 9 = 9 (base 10) = 1001 (binary) D = 13 (base 10) = 1101 (binary) 9D = 10011101 (binary) c. Add your answers to parts (a) and (b) together in binary. (1 point) 10100100 10011101 101000001 (don ʼ t forget the extra carry bit at the end) Deduct ½ point if the student omits the extra carry bit. d. Translate your answer from part (c) into hexadecimal.
