Why No Labour Party in US (Better Question) The two party system was in place before Industrial Revolution Living Standards/Working Conditions o Food was cheaper and more plentiful for American workers compared to that of Europe workers Not as crowded, demand for land, food, housing is low and so are prices Immigration o Immigrants come in unskilled making it easier for those skilled workers, already here, to move up o Too many languages (diversity) makes it difficult to communicate, making it hard to create the Labour Party o Religion diversity makes cooperation difficult Political Structure o Two party system already in place
