STATEMENT OF INTERVIEW CONTEXT I chose interview my mother for this Oral History Project. We decided the interview take place in our living room in Sacramento, California around 3:00 p.m., when the kids were outside playing and my dad went onto his work bench in the garage. This interview took place around Fall Break. BRIEF HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY My mother’s name is Rosalie Pangelinan Dueñas and I chose the interview to focus on the topic of her life as a teenager. She was born on October 3, 1962. As a child, she moved around a lot and lived in many places such as California, Louisiana, Guam and Virginia. She married my father in 1991 and now has 5 girls who are of the ages 27, 19, 18, 15 and 10. She graduated from high school and got her diploma and was educated in one year of college. She has been working since she was 18 years of age. She is Guamanian and Filipino and likes to listen to music, read and garden in her spare time.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
