Introduction: This lab investigates the frequency response of first order active low pass and high pass filters. The main objectives were: Measure the frequency response of First Order Active Low Pass Filter Measure the frequency response of First Order Active High Pass Filter Procedure: Refer to pages 41-42 of ECE 209 Course Packet

Analysis: In this experiment, the proper techniques for learning how operational amplifiers function in simple circuits as well as frequency response of first order circuits were studied. For the gain values of a Low pass active filter, it was observed that the calculated gain value decreased as the phase frequency (V s ) increased. From the gain v/s frequency plot, it can be clearly discerned that the calculated gain value stayed steady till a frequency of 10 KHz and then rapidly decreased till a frequency from 20 KHz onwards.
