Attendance at this overview is manditory. Missing the safety discussion will result in your exclusion from the lab for that week and a grade of zero. Texts : Laboratory Guide, by F. Garafalo, and Signature Lab Series, (CENGAGE Learning). The latter consists of a series of individual, numbered Lab Separates , which have been bound into a softcover book. One of the Lab Separates will be used on certain weeks, noted below, throughout both semesters . Both texts are available with the Course Notes for the course, at the Mass. College of Art bookstore. In addition, you will sometimes need chapters from some of the units in the Course Notes. These are described in the Laboratory Guide. Note: Read the Laboratory Guide first to see what other material might be necessary for that week in lab, such as a particular Lab Separate, or unit chapters from the Course Notes.
