EUH 2001 RA 1: Rise and Fall of Imperial Rome Due Wednesday 1/21/09 Specifications: 3-5 pages of typed text Double-spaced, 11-12 point plain font (ex: Times New Roman, Arial) 1” margins on all sides Staple neatly in upper left corner (no covers or folders, please) Cover page: your name, section number, and a creative title for the RA Use ONLY the assigned sources in TWW, pages 3-54. This is not a research paper, but a historical analysis of a select body of evidence. Cite any exact quotes with a simple parenthetical at the end of the sentence. Name the author of what you’re quoting and the page number on which the quote is found. Ex: (St. Augustine, 52). No bibliography is necessary. Context: It helps when working on an assignment to know what it is you’re supposed to get out of it. This first RA serves two purposes: first, it exposes you to the thrill and frustrations of working with a small collection of sources without the aid of websites, textbooks, and other convenient summaries. Lecture notes and the source introductions are the only secondary back-up you have.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
