Unformatted text preview: Grouped Data Tables and Histograms: Students’ Monthly Phone Bills Use these data to create a grouped data table that summarizes ResEc 211 student monthly phone bills. You’ll note that these are rather “messy.” The blank spaces mean the respondent did not answer the question. These are “missing values” – we don’t know what they paid. One respondent entered “unsure” and another misread the question and put in their phone number. These are the kinds of survey data we typically see. On the next page, you’ll see the same data that have been cleaned up and sorted. Rather than 168 observations, we really only have 151.
