Giordano (Brooks/Cole) Physics 220 Laboratory Manual , A. Lewicki, S. Comer, M. Zimmer A separate syllabus will be provided for laboratory section procedures. Grading Grading will be determined by Exams (3 exams, equally weighted, non-cumulative) 70% Homework 10% Reading Quizzes 5% Lab 15% – You cannot pass the course without passing the laboratory section. *All policies and scheduled activities are subject to change as necessary. 1 of 3

PHYS 220 G ENERAL P HYSICS Fall 2011 Final grades will be assigned as follows (there will be no curve): A = 90% – 100% B = 80% – < 90% C = 70% – < 80% D = 60% – < 70% F = < 60% Exams during the semester will be held Monday, September 26, 8:00 – 10:00pm Section 1 – WTHR 200 Section 2 – LILY 1105 Section 3 – PHYS 114 Thursday, October 27, 8:00 – 10:00pm Section 1 – WTHR 200 Section 2 – CL50 224 Section 3 – FRNY G140 Final: Tuesday, December 13, 7:00 – 9:00pm ELLT All Homework, Reading Quizzes, and Grades will be found on CHIP.
