CS 246 (Spring 2011) Comments and corrections for Thurs June 9 (Section 001) ======================================================= Replies to your feedback ------------------------ - I forgot to address the comment "give suggested readings for upcoming lectures." We would do this if we used a standard textbook for the course. But there is no official course textbook, and instead we have provided numerous suggestions for optional reference material. Trying to exactly match relevant parts of each book to each lecture is not feasible. - Please get in touch with a member of the course staff if you have any specific suggestions about: * improving tutorials * the quantity or timing of office hours * the format or content of assignments * anything else We value your opinions, but you need to tell us what they are first before any changes are possible. Questions --------- - Someone asked about increased flexibility with routine pointers. Have a look at the C++ FAQ link that is posted on the course site:
