PSYCHOLOGY 103: INTRODUCTORY PSYCHOLOGY Section 2: Tu Th 3:50-5:10 PM Jav 100 Professor N. Study Guide and MyPsychLab are NOT required, but they both may be useful for helping you study. GRADING : 1. Best three midterm scores and the final will count. No alternative times will be allowed for any of the exams. You’re responsible for making sure you can be there for exam dates. 2. Research participation. (See below, and see Guidelines posted on blackboard.) 1. Exams : Material from the texts and lectures will be tested in 5 exams: 4 (noncumulative) midterms and 1 cumulative final. See attached schedule. All midterms consist of 30 multiple-choice questions. We will drop the lowest midterm. No alternative times or make-ups will be allowed for any exam. (So if you miss a midterm, that will be the score you drop.) The final consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and will count toward your grade. 2. Research participation : Participating in research being conducted by faculty and graduate students offers you a first-hand view of psychological research. You must participate in 5 hours of research or its equivalent.
