They use their sensing and judging characteristics to solve problems by working through facts until the problem is understood. They want to like people, and have a skill that helps bring out the best in everybody. They also have a skill of reading people and sympathizing with others because maintaining harmony is important to their personality type. ESFJs believe that they can make the best decisions by weighing what people care about and the points of views of others involved in the situation. ESFJs are task oriented, and take their responsibilities very seriously. They value tradition and the security it offers.
