Module 4      3 Module 4 Deliverables Assignments:  Essay Questions Essay Question 1  What are the skills of a successful change agent? Are managers  change agents? Are change agents managers?  Discuss in scholarly detail.  Response:   Change   agents   are   any   individual   or   group   that   performs   purposeful  educative activity designed to influence change in a practical or specific situation.  Sometimes the term is used synonymously with facilitator, instructor, leader, planner, or  teacher. In order to be a successful sustainability change agent, an individual must have the  following: 1.   Knowledge   of   the   environmental,   economic,   and   social   issues   related   to  sustainability. 2. A value system and self-concept to support and under gird the actions of a  change agent (motivation); and 3. Change agent skills.
