Wave A wave is a traveling disturbance that carries Energy WITHOUT carrying any Matter (in bulk) ! Transverse Wave: disturbance is perpendicular to irection of wave propagation (e g ligh direction of wave propagation (e.g. light). ongitudinal Wa : disturbance is along the Longitudinal Wave: disturbance is along the direction of wave propagation (e.g. sound).
