Strongly increases anticoagulation effects of warfarin . Tobramycin Streptomycin – active against TB. But due to ototoxic effects if used in prolonged/intensive therapy has been largely replaced by rifampicin. Neomycin – too toxic for parenteral use. Use topically in skin infections or orally to sterilise the bowel prior to surgery. Amikacin – use in serious GRAM -ve infections that are resistant to gentamicin....
