Route/Dose: 250-500mg bd po Side effects: • As erythromycin but reduced GI upset Clindamycin Indications: osteomyelitis (good bone penetration), intra-abdomnal sepsis Route/Dose: 150-450mg qds po, 0.6-4.8g daily im/iv Side effects: • GI upset – colitis – stop if get diarrhoea • Hepatotoxicity • Blood disorders • Arthralgia • Hypersensitivity.
