Embracing values of justice, holiness as well as love, is challenging in an unusual
situation since they are all are interdependent. Being holy means that a person embraces what
God expects. In most of the time it is challenging to go as per the Lord decision due to issues
associated with human desire and acquisition of power in society as it is difficult to get it from
the people who have different decisions. Hill (2018) indicates that “at its center, holiness calls us
to make God our highest priority” (24).
In this way, Dora with perspective of the set standard
was required to report her irregularities. The reason is that her relationship with the technical
assistant was not essential when compared to her relationship with God. The reason is that her
situation goes hand with God realm of justifying the way He deals with the sinners. It occurs that
a slope in friendship misunderstanding due to ethical and moral responsibility indicates that even
a ‘small’ sin going unpunished is unjustifiable. I believe that Dora is showing love in a way that
the niece of her technical assistance acquires medication through a legal way.

In regard to this situation, I can say that I have never been encountered with an issue
related to theft. Throughout I have worked with people who value expediency over integrity. In a
particular situation, I encountered with a contract employee who needed to be paid in cash
“under that table” since he required to be under a specific income wage monthly to keep her wife
appropriately under the Medicare diabetes treatment. However, as per the company regulation
and rules, this was illegal, but I understood what he was going through, and he needed the money
for living expenses. Since the demand could not meet the standard required, I was unable to hire
him even if it pinned me to seem a person in need to go without his opportunity to raise cash for
urgent care.
Q3
As I reflect on my experience, I can say that even if it was a robust experience to make a
decision, it was the appropriate one and I will always make a similar one in the future. My stand
may not indicate the three-legged stool, yet it portrays the justice and holiness. The reason is that
I question what would have been the consequences after accepting the terms and move forward
in accepting the relationship with that person at work. I doubt the audit would be as per the
regulation and conditions of hiring and whether we will or not make the moral tradeoff along the
way.
