John Cornelio 1148549 October 23, 2011 Individual Reflection Assignment • How effective is the engineering design process at finding possible solutions to a given problem? The engineering design process is a very effective tool in finding possible solutions to a given problem. We cannot just decide right away when solving a problem without giving a proper thought of it. There should be steps or process when given a problem. In this way, we can organize our thoughts and acquire more ideas to the people who we are working with. Communications is also important in the engineering design process. We should communicate very well to the client to understand what the client really wants. Moreover, communication is a key issue in the engineering design process. Without it, people can be in possible harm when using a product. A product that is not engineered properly can lead to a possible danger. In addition, we engineers must design ethically to avoid a catastrophe.
