I believe that this “new learning” transformative education is idealistic for this century, with thoughts of individualism and new technology. This article speaks of great ideas, where students can be considered equals with teachers and students can learn from any location with topics that interest them. If you look at just the pros, I would consider just switching over to transformative education. It seems like a brilliant idea, reminding me of futuristic movies such as the new Star Trek film with Spok’s education. I don’t believe that this article is trying to show us that each form of education is better than the other. It was never stated that transformative education is much better than didactic education.
