Background Information How do you define a disability sport? Who qualifies?  Are they considered an advantage, rather than a  disadvantage? The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was  formed to give equal rights to those who are disabled  but also prevents people from taking advantage of  the system to win Many disabled players have a technical advantage,  due to a wheel chair, prosthetic leg, etc.

Father is a doctor who specializes in children with  neurological disorders - that effects their ability to  walk Has always been interested in people who struggle in  society due to their disabilities  Wanted to write a research paper on the ADA and  how it helps them Instead, researched the topic and became interested
