Fall 2011 MKT 300 Assignment 1 Instructions: You should submit a written or typed submission (Calibri, font 11 or 12) with a maximum of 3 pages (singled sided). There are three questions in total. Indicate your final answers clearly (e.g., bold & underline, circle, etc.). To receive full credit, you must show how you arrive at your final answers. This will also help your TA assign partial credit if the final answer is incorrect. Please organize your submission neatly. Consult your TA if you are unsure. Your TA will grade the assignment out of 20 points (with 1 point being the smallest unit). Since this assignment is worth 5 course points , we will convert your score for this assignment into course points by dividing your final score by 4. Q1 . Consider the following marketing with 10 customers. The customers reservation utility ($X in our lecture notes) is $0. The Table below shows the Value that each customer places on Company A’s product. The unit variable cost of the product is $20.
