I watched the Martin Luther King Jr. “I have a dream” speech. MLK Jr. delivered his speech with a calm, stern, and provoking tone which I could see as a very effective way of public speaking. The people were drawn to his words with a sense of respect, and excitement. Though there was no obvious body language that I could see, he showed his strength through tone, and composure. His speech was filled with historical facts and current facts for that period

I found the speech to be very persuasive because I believe in truthful speaking. He expressed exactly that and the people that listened knew that they could trust in this fact about him.
