Daniel Kelleher October 15, 2011 Dr. Goodwin Self-esteem Essay After reading all of the activities, one great activity is getting to know me. This activity encourages great depth and honesty from the students by allowing them to complete a variety of statements about self-awareness. It allows students to write down their feelings and thoughts which could be stress relieving. The activity also helps students identify some of the situations and actions they perform that cause them stress. This activity is recommended for fourth grade through high school, so I would adapt it to younger children by having them pick pictures of faces that are expressing different emotions. This way the young children could understand the concept of the activity and get to ezpress their feelings. Another activity that would be effective is my hero, in which students write papers on a person they greatly admire in the world and why. This activity has high participation and student involvement which increases their exposure to
