Unformatted text preview: Daniel Kelleher Ms. Williams English 110, section 30 February 10, 2010 English 110 is a writing-intensive course that at first thought sends Goosebumps down my back. This is caused from the distain I have accrued over my middle and high school years from writing mind dumbing research papers and the anxiety that comes with them. But since attending my first few English 110 classes, I have realized that there is a gleam of hope that I might actually come to enjoy rhetorical and persuasive writing that encompasses this class. I am taking English 110 in order to learn how to strengthen my writing not only for college courses, but also to prepare myself to write intelligently for the rest of my life. My expectations for this course are to help me build on my high school writing experiences to create a stronger foundation for the types of writing I will complete in classes across the curriculum during my studies at the University of Delaware. Also I would like to develop a better understanding of how studies at the University of Delaware....
