Daniel Kelleher October 15, 2011 Dr. Goodwin Suicide Essay After reviewing and analyzing all of the activities, the most effective activity for suicide prevention would have to be the chalk line lesson. The chalk line lesson plan is an activity that has a large amount of student participation and the small group work increases individual involvement. The chalk line lesson allows students to be creative and have fun with creating important events that could happen in a fictitious person’s life. The students will reflect and probably use important events that have already occurred in their own lives for the early years of the fictitious person’s timeline. Also the students will most likely use goals they expect to accomplish in their own lives for the middle and later years of the timeline. Once the timeline has been complete, the students can probably envision themselves living a life similar to the one of the fictitious character. But then the
