Daniel Kelleher Presentation Evaluation Topic - “Global Attitudes: Changes since 9/11” Speaker - Andrew Kohut, Pew Research President Appearance - Professionally dressed in shirt, jacket, and tie. Energy/Enthusiasm - Somewhat energetic but lacks passion on topic and has monotone voice. Voice, clarify, fillers, and intonation – Uses umm and ugh almost every other sentence as filler when thinking of what to say. He does speak very clearly and is easy to understand. Confidence – Seems moderately confident, good posture, and keeps eye contact with all of audience. Equipment Prepared – PowerPoint was set up and ready to go. Effective use of time – Always on topic and never wasted any time. Convey topic clearly, stated objective clear – Topic and objective is very clearly stated and defined. Maintain group interest – Talks in very monotone voice which makes it easy to lose focus. For example an old man at the end of the row was sleeping after about ten minutes of speech. Speaker stood in one position behind podium the entire speech and some audience members
