1. Gather all materials 2. Mass the metal, cup, and cup filled with water. 3. Boil a 250mL beaker filled with water. 4. Measure the temperature of the water filled in the cup. 5. Place the metal in the boiling water. 6. Let the water sit and restart boiling. 7. Insert thermometer through the small hole on a foam cup. 8. Take out the metal and place in the Styrofoam cup that contains water. 9. Place the Styrofoam cup containing the thermometer on top. 10. All the water to sit until the thermometer comes to a stop. Record the data. 11. Redo steps 2-10 until the table below is filled out.
