Problem 1 A disk of radius R has a small disk cut out of it (see figure). The cut out disk has radius R/ 2. The mass of the remaining shape (gray area) is m . Find out its moment of inertia with respect to the axis going perpendicular to the plane of the figure through the point A at the top of the large disk. The line OO ′ connecting the centers of the large and small disks is horizontal, the OA line is vertical.
