Single Instance Store Some email systems allow for what is called a “Single Instance Store”. What this means is that if I send an email to 10 people of my email server, the message is only stored once in the database and 10 people have pointers to it. Saves space vs. 10 people storing a copy of the exact same message. Good when sending pictures or file attachments.
