What types of communication would be most effective in persuading groups in an organization, including trainers, employees, programmers, and managers? Why? The most effective means of communications depends on the specific set of circumstances. If you were trying to provide a large sum of factual information, data or instructions that will require the reader to read and reference in the future, then memos or emails would be used. This is because the reader will have so much information to digest that they will need to go back and reference the material prior to the project or meeting

When you are attempting to persuade a person or group of persons, it is far more effective when you can speak to them. Sometimes, a phone call or a conference call is sufficient, other times, in order to get your point across, you need to be able to look the customer or group in the eye and vocalize your thoughts....
