TYPES OF COMPUTER GRAPHICS Digital Imaging The process of acquiring an electronic snapshot of a scene or document (i.e. photographs, printed texts, paintings, etc.) The digital file, using binary code, is made up of pixels, or picture elements, that are assigned a tonal value of black, white, varying shades of gray, or color. These type of images are known as bitmaps.
