For young adults ages 21-40, Skyy is the vodka that delivers a positive, world- class experience because only Skyy has a pure, smooth taste due to its distillation and filtration process. 3. From the list of objectives mentioned in the earlier paragraph, what do you think the objective of this advertisement is: (2) or (3) or both? Why do you think so? a. I think that the objective of this advertisement is to influence consumers’ perceptions and attitudes. First, the ad itself shows a beautiful woman in bed with money flying everywhere and an attractive man on top of her. The man happens to be holding a martini, and in the corner is a bottle of Skyy Vodka. It is clear that the objective of this advertisement is to sell an experience, not just a bottle of vodka. When the average consumer sees this ad its not the vodka that sparks an interest but rather the atmosphere that the drink is being consumed in. The interaction of the male and female model in the advertisement introduces a sexual component to the product, which changes the consumers’ perception of the brand as well. This advertisement appeals to consumers “ideal self” because it sends the message that
