Site URL: www.en.opera.se Target Market The website appeals to a broad demographic. It focuses more on the psychographic elements to identify its target market. The target market for this website is people who have an interest/passion for culture and the performing arts. As stated on the website, “The unique mixture of opera, dance and musicals makes the Göteborg Opera a meeting place that also appeals to a younger audience.” Based on the prices for tickets, I assume that the website targets middle and upper class people. Image conveyed through site type of site? B2B, B2C, G2C, etc. This site is a B2C site because it is a business (the Goteborgs Opera House) selling tickets to performances to consumers. Along with selling tickets, the site also provides descriptions and previews of the various shows. Navigation Intuitive? Navigation within the site is fairly simple. All the relevant information and features within the website are distinctively labeled so it is easy to find and get to. The layout of the homepage is very intuitive in that by rolling your mouse over a specific performance, it expands the box and gives you options to preview the performance, read more information, or book a ticket to see the show.
