Kudler’s Data Table Analysis Kudler’s Data Table Analysis Randi Padavano ACC 542 May 2, 2011 Christy Countryman Introduction Kudler Fines Foods founded in 1998 and is growing rapidly (Apollo, 2011). When the fine food store was first opened, Microsoft Access was the database that was used. This database tracked inventory, orders, and customers. Inventory is a concern for the business and must be tracked to ensure the items are not expired. This paper will evaluate database tables from accounting perspective, provide recommendation for improvement and create a pivot table that will help Kudler’s management improve on the decision making process. Evaluate the design elements of the data tables from an accounting perspective. Data Table analysis is necessary for Kudler’s success because the information in the tables help determine the amount of inventory needed. The design of the current data table is very limited. The data is compiled according to the departments at each location. Under the
