Reanna Echeverria 10/02/2011 Project #1 Matrix of Domination 1. I am a middle class, white, female, bisexual, and atheist. 2. Ways that I would/could easily be oppressed would be because I am bisexual or an atheist, those are just some of the Matrix’s of Domination I fall under, but no one knows those things about me. The reason I don’t tell people those things about me, is because I know that people would judge me, put me in a category, stereotype me, and oppress me, and try to change the way I am. For example, the military used to have a don’t ask/don’t tell policy for that reason. Because now that is gone, bisexual/homosexuals will be oppressed by the heterosexual individuals. That is a fact. How do I know that? In my speech class at Boise State, we had a discussion about that topic. One man who just got released from the military said that he knows for a fact that will happen, and he has seen it happen multiple times before, and after the don’t ask don’t tell was removed. As far as religion goes, I have been oppressed by individuals in other religions. My
